MXTS 2011 Preview: Still Corners

Still Corners are a duo out of London that make music like cinematic dreams. Beautiful, sun-drenched dreams with darkness lurking in the corners. There are many bands that try their hand at 60s-inspired fuzz pop, but after listening to a few tracks by the these guys, we’ve forgotten who they are.

The band recently signed to legendary Seattle label Sub Pop, who will putting out a single soon with full length to follow later in 2011.  Fans of Beach House will want to be paying close attention for that.

If you need us, we’ll be in the attic lying on our backs listening to Still Corners on an old record player.
